If you’re refusing to participate in Halloween festivities this weekend, the jokes on you – because even if you’re not dressing up, people will just assume you’re a wallflower. This is our pre-halloweekend PSA to encourage you to embrace the inner child that once wanted to be a police officer, or ninja turtle, or Saved by the Bell character, or all of the above because damn it, it’s Halloween and you can do whatever you want – and with a few snickers bars in hand.

On this day in 1919, put into place by Congress, the dreadful days of prohibition begun banning the production, sale, and transportation of alcoholic beverages. Thankfully this is no longer the case!
