#NationalCandyMonth keeps getting sweeter by the week and we can’t wait to show you what we have in store for the rest of June. This month we are celebrating our classic American manufacturing success story. For those who love chocolate, candy, gum and mints, those who appreciate the strong economic impact of a responsible and fun industry, and for many others, this is a month made for celebration – and we hope you’ll continue to join us.

#WATCH

I recently heard this story about these three little pigs that built homes made out of straw, sticks and bricks, respectively. A big bad wolf came along and blew all their houses down, with the exception of the one made of brick.

I thought to myself, “Wow, those dumb pigs should’ve called Eric Wohlschlegel before making that kind of investment.”

Eric is founder of The Crib Line, the hottest resource in D.C. real estate. We went over to one of his homes to chat more about it and let’s just say when he invited us in and told us to make ourselves at home, we definitely did.

Confessions of a Capitol Hill Staffer: Home Alone: Congressional Edition

Let’s just be honest with ourselves – we all have those weird habits that we do when nobody’s watching, but we’d be embarrassed to publicly admit. For example, singing into a hairbrush around the apartment to Britney Spears circa 2000 or having extended conversations with your dog.

Hill staffers engage in similarly weird behaviors, only they are more, how shall we say it… patriotic? Here are a few of the ‘crazy’ things Hill staffers do at the office when no one is watching.
