Morning Grind 12.13.16
We’re certainly off to a rough start this week in terms of weather. Come on, Mother Nature! Give us some sunshine. The sun seems to be a bit shy as we’re looking at cloudy skies all day. Maybe it’ll come out to say hi one day soon. At least we won’t need our rain boots so you can bust out your best suede footwear!

This week has brought us depressing weather so instead of forcing an all too charming and cheerful song on DC, we’re offering an Alt-R&B ballad from The Internet. Syd the Kid‘s lush voice accompanied by the lulling instrumentals will feel just right for this cloudy, quiet day.
If there’s one thing we can’t get enough of during the holiday season, it’s the seasonal treats and sweets. Today is National Cocoa Day so cozy up with a cup and thank the monkeys for your mug of hugs because they were the first animals to figure out the cacao plant was not only edible, but super delicious.
THIS DAY IN HISTORY
