Association of American Railroads

The holidays are here – whether you’re ready or not. While you’re doing last-minute gift shopping or ordering more festive decorations, freight rail is hard at work delivering the items you need – at a cost you’ll like. How? Intermodal rail.
Intermodal allows shippers to move high volumes of goods more efficiently and cost-effectively than ever before.

Learn more about how intermodal rail keeps your holidays merry and bright.

COMING SOON: In an exclusive interview, FamousDC sat down with a group of individuals claiming to be followers and staunch believers of Santa Claus. Here’s a preview of what these sources are saying about the magic of the holidays.

Here’s a breakdown of net neutrality comin’ at ya at full speed (for now); This 6 year old makes more money than all of us combined; You can thank Harvey Weinstein for your boring work party; While you’re watching Netflix, Netflix is also watching you; DC is going gaga for Wawa; If you’re traveling for the holidays, might wanna think about getting out now; The red carpet will be all black at the 2018 Golden Globes.

Flashback Friday: It’s easy for us to lose sight of our surroundings as we hurry from one place to another, constantly looking down at our phones or talking on them. Febin Bellamy was a student at Georgetown University when he saw this trend on campus and decided to turn it around. Watch the interview that still inspires us to this day.

Check on your people. Seriously. The holiday season is up and running full speed: shopping, holiday parties and family visits. Can you do us a favor and check in on one friend? Just give ‘em a text or a shout. We can’t ever tell what someone is going through. Take a minute and let him or her know you’re thinking about them. High fives + hugs = happy holidays!
