Greg Gianforte (R-MT) welcomes Christine Heggem as its new chief of staff. Before this, Heggem was director of coalitions and outreach for the House Agriculture committee and spent time with the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association; Podesta Group managing principal David Marin is joining Mylan as its new head of government affairs; Amy Murphy has a new role as manager of federal affairs at the Internet Association. Murphy previously was a senior legislative assistant to Rep. Joe Barton (R-TX), where she covered the energy and telecommunications portfolio; The New Yorker has named Madison Heuston as its new PR coordinator.
