Who Run the Quote?

Who said it, Hillary or Beyonce?

“If I want to knock a story off the front page, I just change my hairstyle.”

It’s a toss up for best hair flip when it comes to Hillary and Beyonce, but this is a quote from Mrs. Clinton. These women have both made headlines for their luscious locks, whether it’s for dyeing them blonde or chopping them off. Such influential women need awesome hair to match.

“Power means happiness; power means hard work and sacrifice.”

Beyonce Knowles and Hillary Clinton know a lot about power as two of the most influential women in the world. We consider both of these female leaders workaholics, but this is a Mrs. Carter quote. This singer knows nothing comes easily, especially in the music industry. She started out as a member of Destiny’s Child at 15 years old and hasn’t stopped working since Who run the world? These two.

“I can’t stand whining.”

You probably shouldn’t whine in the presence of the former First Lady nor the Lemonade singer (you should probably be ecstatic), but this is a quote from Hillary Rodham. She has no time for complainers while she’s in charge of U.S. foreign policy or on the campaign trail. She doesn’t want to hear if your SoulCycle class was overbooked on the weekend; she’s got bigger problems to deal with. Future staffers take note.

“I have to defend my husband.”

Unfortunately, both Hillary Clinton and Beyonce Knowles have had a little lemonade spill on them. We can’t believe anyone would try to double-cross these feminists, but this quote comes from the democratic presidential candidate. Beyonce sang, “tell him, boy, bye,” after learning Jay-Z canoodled with “Becky with the good hair,” but neither woman left her significant other after the cheating scandals came to light.

“I’ve worn dresses from all different price ranges, and the thing that couture dresses have in common is that the fit is amazing.”

Both women are known for their fashion choices, but Beyonce prefers the fit of couture dresses. This quote should’ve been easy since we can’t seem to find a picture of Hillary in anything other than a pantsuit, although her two-pieces definitely range in price as well.

“The great thing about McDonald’s is that they have a lot of different things on the menu. I love their salads.”

Beyonce’s just like us; she eats McDonald’s! Oh wait she’s not like us… Who orders a salad at a fast food chain? That’s probably why she has such killer abs. Hillary’s husband was known for trips to McDonald’s during his presidency, but Mrs. Clinton prefers Chipotle, so this is definitely a Bey statement. No matter their salaries, these popular women still crave the occasional break from their celebrity chefs.

And finally… who said they have hot sauce in their bag swag?

BOTH of these leading ladies carry hot sauce in their bags! Beyonce sings, “I’ve got hot sauce in my bag, swag,” in her hit single Formation, so that was a no-brainer. But the Secretary of State does too? Hillary told New York City’s popular radio show, The Breakfast Club, she carries hot sauce in her purse as well. Many listeners thought the presidential candidate only said that to make a Queen B reference, but she’s actually been professing her love of spicy flavors since Beyonce was in fifth grade. She’d love the vote from Yonce fans, but will still carry hot sauce in her bag regardless. Keep doing you Hillary!
