We’re flirting with some sun in the 70s today. Expect a little precipitation until noon and a lot of condensation on your happy hour bevies after that. It’s Friday, y’all.
When LCD Soundsystem surprised us yesterday with the announcement that their frist shows in over 5 years would be performed this weekend in New York City, we pretty much lost our minds. LCD’s music is inimitable – a genius blend of punk rock and electronic sounds, and we’re damn grateful to have them back. And don’t worry: If you can’t see them this weekend, find them at multiple dates across the US this summer, including back in New York at the inaugural Panorama Festival, at Lollapalooza in Chicago, Coachella in California, and at Bonnaroo.
