On Thursday night, downtown DC was packed with people hoping to catch a glimpse of the tree lighting, but a block away from the White House, Morning Consult was having a time of their own.

After a long summer of renovation at the original Securities and Exchange Commission building, Morning Consult’s new headquarters opened for business…and parties.

Two stocked bars and passed hors d’oeuvres by Design Cuisine kept revelers smiling as the whole Morning Consult crew and their guests celebrated the holidays in the new space. The star of the night was the Bacon Bar – yes, a bar solely dedicated to different kinds of bacon.

At the end of the evening, Morning Consult CEO Michael Ramlet took a moment to reflect on how far the company has come since it launched in 2013. He also gave guests a sneak peek at Morning Consult’s latest endeavor – Morning Consult Intelligence – a new public opinion polling technology platform set to debut next week.
