CQFaZX1UYAAtW8XA good deed was done yesterday, when Congress launched the Congressional Ovarian Cancer Caucus to support an ongoing battle against this deadly disease. The event comes with added support from an unlikely but devoted source, MTV’s hit show, The Challenge. The MTV family suffered a devastating loss when beloved cast member, Diem Brown lost her battle to Ovarian Cancer last November 2014. In honor of Diem’s legacy, former Real World cast member, Rep. Sean Duffy has joined forces with Rep. Rosa DeLauro and the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance to launch this caucus.

The event was a major success, with attendees flooding out of the room and into the hallway in order to hear the speakers. Diem’s sister and caretaker, Megan Brown, spoke to the group about how much the caucus means to her. Megan is a producer at Fox News. Also spotted at the event were Rep. Sean DuffyRep. Rosa DeLauroCalaneet Balas of the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance, Rachel Campos-Duffy, Real World’s David “Puck” Rainey and Norman KorpiLaurel Stucky, and Derrick Kosinski of MTV’s “The Challenge”.
