We here at FDC have been very vocal about our dislike of Foursquare. Matter of fact, we’ve gone as far as stating that Foursquare “serves no purpose beyond helping you stalk strangers.”

Perhaps it’s our fear of knowing too much personal information about people. Or perhaps it’s because we don’t really care if you check into your local dry cleaner…for social media people, we’re just not very social.

But you know, we run a blog…so we’re going to get our act together.

In an attempt to truly wrap our heads around this latest phenomenon, we’ve decided to test it out–and not just because we want the Starbucks coupons.

We’re testing it out because we want folks to know that we spend entirely too much time at Chop’t and Ann Taylor Loft.

We’re testing it out because we have a real chance of being the mayor of Goodstuff.

And we’re testing it out because this guy asked a good question.
