GoRemy [the genius behind the Arlington Rap ] recently moved to the DC area – and we’re pretty pumped up about it. You [and 10,000,000 friends] have seen his work on YouTube. Now we get a chance to learn more about the crazy hummus rapper.

1) We saw your latest rap about the Redskins and laughed our asses off – great work! What DC area city, monument or person will be the subject of your next rap? If we help provide you material, [and we have tons] will you produce a Capitol Hill song?

Thanks, I’m glad you liked it!  I’m not sure what the subject of the next video will be, but it will probably be filmed in and around Arlington.  A Capitol Hill video would be fun, I’ve always wanted to run up the Capitol steps like that guy in the question mark suit.  Though a brown guy running up the steps of the Capitol might prompt some phone calls.

2) Your McDonald’s rap has been viewed over 10 million times on YouTube. Do people recognize you in the drive-thru and did that rap score you any free Happy Meals?

Any time I get recognized at McDonald’s it’s not “hey, there’s that guy from the video,” it’s usually “hey there’s that guy that’s way too old to be in the ball pit.”  I think it’s probably a good thing.  If videos got me free food, I’d never make a video that wasn’t about Cinnabon.

3) If you weren’t fulfilling your dreams on YouTube, what would you be doing?  Would it involve politics?

“World’s Strongest Man” competitions.  They have this event where you throw boulders.  Not that I like feats of strength, I just really hate rocks.

4) Obama and Rahm email you and say they’re up for laying down some tracks tonight. Where is this rap headed?

If they called and asked if we could record tonight, I’d say “yes we can!”  Then I’d laugh at that hilarious joke for several hours.  By then we’d probably have forgotten about the recording and I’d be named Secretary of the Exterior or whatever.

5) Fill in the blank: I read FamousDC because Arial is my favorite font and they’re the best pent-terrogator? in Washington.

**BONUS QUESTION: From Scared Hitless : What’s the worst thing you’d do for money and how much?

I once line danced to “Achy Breaky Heart” for a hundred dollars.  Did I say “a hundred dollars?”  I meant “my own enjoyment.”  “Yesterday.”
