This year’s event presented by The Boeing Company and takes place on March 9th with 100% of net proceeds funding vital pediatric cancer research at Children’s National Health System and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.

The events main features are an amateur style poker tournament and food tasting curated by culinary chair Casey Patten. Closing the night off for the Chance for Life event will be a Vegas-style after party with a surprise musical act. Chance for Life’s Founder Brad Nierenberg of RedPeg Marketing has done a terrific job in curating many different elements into this all-day event experience.

FamousDC will be heading to Chance for Life and we hope to see you there. In other words, you will want to join us if you were lucky enough to get a ticket. Tickets for the event are currently sold out, but you can still donate to the cause here.

Chance for Life takes direct aim to fill this gap, providing 100% of net proceeds to help fund vital pediatric cancer research at Children’s National Health System and through Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. The non-profit’s major charity poker tournament and taste experience has historically raised over $4.2 million to directly support those on the forefront of local cancer research and care.
