Rep. Diane Watson had a five-minute speech paying tribute to Gary Coleman.

We can just imagine the office conversation before the floor speech:

Staffer:

“Congresswoman, there are 20 thousand gallons of oil pouring into the Gulf everyday. Want to touch that on the floor?”

Congresswoman:

“Nah, that’s a toughie.”

Staffer:

“Congresswoman, Gary Coleman just died”

Congresswoman:

“Call the Speaker’s office and get me some floor time. I got this.”
