For 138 years U.S. Presidents have welcomed Americans to the White House for the Easter Egg Roll. This year’s theme was “Let’s Celebrate!” and more than 40,000 people joined the President and the First Family on the South Lawn for games, stories, and, of course, the traditional egg roll.

For the sixth consecutive year our friend, Tommy McFly, emceed the event. Tommy’s 14-hour day included hosting a fun run with the First Lady, meeting Shonda Rimes, introducing Robin Roberts, interviewing Echosmith and watching Chloe and Halle with Beyonce and JayZ. Some of the other 40,000 guests yesterday included Silento, Daya, Idina Menzel, the cast of Blackfish and many, many more celebrities.

Congrats to the President and First Lady on hosting another amazing Easter Egg Roll. In the eight years the Obama Family has hosted the Easter Egg Roll, they’ve welcomed over 250,000 people to the South Lawn.

A special shoutout to the many, many volunteers that make the event such a huge success each year. And of course, a big thank you to Tommy, who’s the hardest working guy in showbiz.
