We’ve heard rumors about Congressional staff going without pay during a government shut-down, but nothing has been quite as serious as this news:

National Journal’s Aliya Sternstein: If Government Shuts Down, Bye-Bye BlackBerry

Nextgov.com reports that if Congress forces the government to shut down, then agencies and employees might have to shut down office Web-based e-mail and power off BlackBerrys, according to federal law.
