Jeff Ross is America’s Roastmaster General.  And while that’s not a cabinet-level position, he’s still one famous dude.  Which is why we were surprised he was able to find the time between hassling the Hoff and appearing on Letterman, Leno, Kimmel and Conan to e-sit down with me for a Famous 5 (Jeff was so generous with his time, he’s getting a Famous 6–props to anyone who races over to Urban Dictionary and properly defines the term).

His answers are classic Ross–hilarious, and a little bit sweaty…but they’re not as hilarious as his stand up routine, which you can catch at the DC Improv March 3rd-6th (see below for details or click here for tickets) for the low-low price of $20. I’ve caught his act twice, and promise you’ll wet yourself (more than you usually do).  In fact, I reccomend spilling your drink on yourself so you can explain away the wet spot.  It’s my go-to move.

So here’s the Famous 6 with Jeff Ross–and keep reading for more information on the show and how you can get more Jeff.

1) If you could roast one politician, who would it be and why?

I would roast Pres. Obama because he’s the biggest star in the world and I only roast the one’s I love.

2) You’re being deported to a deserted island. You can bring three other comedians with you. Who are they and why?

If I were on a deserted island I would bring my fellow roasters Lisa Lampanelli and Whitney Cummings so that I could be the funniest one there.

3) What the hell is wrong with Andy Dick?

Nobody knows what’s wrong with Andy Dick. Even he doesn’t know. This is a question that only future scientific experiments will answer. Some people believe he was originally hatched in the Playboy Mansion Grotto.

4) We saw you at the Carnegie Deli one time late night. What’s your deli order?

My favorite deli order is roasted anything with Russian dressing and cole slaw.

5) Better roasts: Dean Martin or Comedy Central?

I like the new “over the top” breed of roasting better than the old Dean Martin style.  Those guys had class and wit–but we have bleeps.

6) Besides getting a plug, the best part about answering the Famous 5 is that you can suggest a question for our next interview. Got a question you want answered? We don’t know who the next interview might be, so it’s open-ended.

My question for your next interview subject is “how pathetic is your career that you have to submit to these ridiculous questions?” Too soon?
