Our friends at POLITICO were kind enough recently to feature us in their "hot list" story.

But will the Fab Fifty have any chance of taking over The Hill’s list, which has become nationally known after a solid six-year run?

Don’t bet on it, according to blog FamousDC , an up and coming Washington interest blog written by a mix of city players who helped promote the Fab Fifty list.

“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery; there’s nothing wrong with a little competition,” wrote one blog’s writers, who remain anonymous. “It’s human nature to tease anyone who appears on [The Hill’s] list. Generally speaking, each person that makes the cut is a good-looking guy or gal with a pretty cool story. We should all remember this is for fun and stop hating.”

Thanks, Erika!
