If you’re looking for something to do Thursday, why not stop by James Hoban’s Irish Restaurant and Bar ?

Starting at  6 p.m., you can raise a glass with a few new friends and also help bring a dog home from Afghanistan.

More info:

A group of our Marines working hard in Afghanistan adopted a pup they named "Miranda".  She is at least part black Labrador, is very healthy, has fought off other dogs at their camp, and has won their hearts.  Now the soldiers are trying to raise money to bring Miranda back to the U.S. and save her from the dog fighting trade, which is popular in Afghanistan.  She is now in Kabul waiting on a flight to the U.S.  The cost to get her medically cleared and shipped is $3,000.00 and they need our help raising the money.

Please come for a private extended happy hour at James Hoban’s to raise money to bring Miranda home.  $3 Bud/Bud Light/Bud Lime and $5 Martinis and Cosmos.
