Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. recently asked some rich dude to fly a hostess friend of his between Chicago and Washington DC “multiple times.”

After the news broke, Jackson very quickly stated that the relationship with said restaurant hostess was a “private matter” between him, his wife and the restaurant’s head chef – so he even though he’s a public figure, he asked that you grant him some privacy.

“The reference to a social acquaintance is a private and personal matter between me and my wife that was handled some time ago. I ask that you respect our privacy,” Jackson said in his statement.

Let’s just hope he doesn’t need to use this.
