The Republican National Convention is wrapping up this evening, and after a week of My Little Pony, Lucifer, and uncomfortable embraces, we think we actually might miss it. Just a little bit, though. Let’s not get crazy.

THURSDAY IN NEWS:

  • The theme for today is “Make America One Again,” featuring evening speeches  from RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, favorite child Ivanka Trump, and Donald Trump himself. This is quite the star-studded cast of characters.
  • Last night, Ted Cruz got a lot of boos. He refused to endorse Trump, instead encouraging listeners to vote their “conscience.”
  • VP-pick Mike Pence spoke, and Trump congratulated him with the most uncomfortable kiss on the cheek of all time… the internet subsequently freaked out.
  • Police arrested 18 protesters on Wednesday after a flag burning ceremony.
