The National Confectioners Association and FamousDC last night hosted the best of downtown Washington and Capitol Hill at their #NationalCandyMonth event at Stanton and Greene. The duo feted DC’s top politicos, members of the media, lawmakers and policymakers with sweets and treats.

Among the many guests were none other than celebrities like HariBo Jackson, Lucille GumBall, Michael Jordan Almonds, Britney Spearsmint, and Bon Bon Jovi who showed up and parked their sweet candy rides front and center in VIP. In addition to some sweet talk, guests enjoyed gourmet cheeses, crostini and chicken skewers and of course, chocolate, candy, gum and mints. The evening’s sweetest moments were captured at the step and repeat.

The event was in celebration of National Candy Month – a time to embrace a classic American manufacturing success story, and the authentic, transparent and fun treats that candy companies have been producing for more than a hundred years.
