Last night Magnum Entertainment hosted an incredible event in honor of Back to the Future Day. Spirits were high and flux capacitors were fluxing at full strength as the crowd gathered at the fabulous Hamilton. From the start, the event bespoke a posh demeanor as a special entrance along F street was opened and guests were whisked downstairs into the elegant Hamilton Live event space, where we were transported straight to Hill Valley.

There were a few reserved tables for cosponsors and a VIP area, but most of the revelers navigated themselves near the twin bars and, once the music began in earnest, the raucous dance floor. Sumptuous hors d’oeuvres from the Hamilton kitchen were carried about on silver trays, including miniature tuna tartare, finger sandwiches and possibly the most delicious sliders in the Beltway.

While many guests dressed in the stylish attire typical of our capital city, more than a few got into the spirit of the evening with themed attire from 1985, 1955, or “2015”. One couple even dressed as Doc and Marty! The happy crowd was enchanted by the sounds of talented local bands Blame It on Jane, Cue the Deer, and headliner DK’s Wolf, who all really brought the house down with their rocking sets. It was an great way to wrap up October 21, 2015, and a spectacular party which reflects positively on all Magnum’s endeavors… into the future!
