See the winning play from Thursday night’s Congressional Women’s Softball Game.

With runners on first and second (both of whom were intentionally walked), Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz singles up the middle, driving in the winning run for the Congresswomen. They defeated the reporters 5-4.

From Jonathan Allen’s Huddle:

ON THE RECORD: CONGRESSWOMEN BEAT REPORTERS — “In the third annual Congressional Women’s Softball game, members from both sides of the aisle came together to play the Capitol Hill Press Corps. The effort was to benefit the Young Survival Coalition, a group that assists young women facing breast cancer,” Xuan Thai reports for CNN. “The media women lost, 5-4.” Rep. Laura Richardson (D-Calif.) smacked a three run homer and Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz — my former boss and an organizer of the game — had the game-winning RBI, according to CNN.
