Congressional wannabe Jon Powers is taking heat for accepting campaign contributions from a strip club owner.

Richard A. Snowden of Buffalo, NY is the alleged entrepreneur.

Not only has Powers accepted $7,000 from Snowden and his Rick’s Tally-Ho “gentleman’s cabaret” in Cheektowaga, but Snowden co-hosted a fundraising event for him Tuesday at the Saturn Club in Buffalo, according to former Wyoming County Democratic Chairwoman Anne Weidman.

It’s unclear as to whether or not the $7,000 was paid off in one dollar bills.

What is clear, Rick’s Tally-Ho is a sweet name for a “night club.”

And, to no ones surprise, some folks don’t think this is a good thing.

“I am frankly disgusted to learn you have taken campaign contributions from Rick Snowden, a notorious strip club owner with establishments in both Erie and Monroe counties,” Weidman told Powers.

Apparently Weidman doesn’t support hard working moms.

And as for the creepy guy who doles out the dollar bills, well, we Goggled him, and below is the first picture that popped up.  Raise your hand if you’re surprised?
